We weaned some calves today and after loading the truck I went searching for some cattle that have been getting out. As i was looking for them a home-owner stopped me and said he had seen some in his subdivision of million dollar cabins. After sending my dogs in this is what i found...he was right, there was just a few.
The angus cattle sold great as always. They are an amazing set the Gohrs put together every year and continue to make their mark on the national scene. My top steer brought 4000 and sold to trausch farms in Iowa and my top heifer brought 6000 and sold to Dennis Harvey in Indiana. Another great sale with great people and great food!

Congrats to the Holmes family for taking a clean sweep again. These two are hard to beat. But if im not mistaken i think the local butcher has ended their reign....great job guys.
