Grand Champion Perc. Simmental Heifer at the Oklahoma beef expo

I was just informed that a heifer I sold last year was Grand Champion Percentage Simmental ring A & B at the Oklahoma Beef Expo. Congrats to Mackenzie Strickland and special thanks to Kerry Lawrence and Brent Tolle for placing this heifer

McCall, Idaho

I checked cattle yesterday in McCall/Donnelly and snapped a few pics of the storm coming in that eventually soaked me. The one group of cattle run on jug mountain golf course and actually border numerous fairways on the course. I would love to be on the other side of the fence for once hitting the links instead of doctoring calves.

A lot has happened since my last post...

We have been absolutely swamped the past month and it is finally coming to an end. Only a few loads are waiting for their trip up north and that will happen this week. We have ai'ed or put embryos in close to 500 hd and hopefully my shoulder will live to tell about it. Heres the run down on who we used...angus - opportunity tiger consensus upshot next step brilliance final product and design doctor...simmental broker, driver, target...club calf - man amongst boys monopoly 2 believe in me eye candy and heatwave. The embryos are mostly pb simmental and clubby. I kept about 25 calves close to home so if ur ever in the area and would like to stop and look please do!

We have had many calves shown the past month all across the west. Please email or text any pictures/updates. I do know we swept the grand and reserve holes at the high valley jackpot in Oregon.

Cattle are heading north!

We are sending a lot of our cattle to the high country of central idaho. If you can't travel out here a wolf will get ya or you'll die on the mountain! Take note midwest boys, this is why soundness is so important, and the saying "hes a little straight" is the kiss of death.

Anybody looking for extra recips

I have got about 20 extra recip cows if anyone is looking to put some eggs in....I cover all cost and you get a three month pregnancy for 1750. Let me know. Eggs are going in june 19th.
