It's that time of year again! You're thinking holidays...but January 2, 2016, right after New Years, make your resolution to bring something fresh to your string or herd. We have partnered again with Weaver Show Cattle and are offering an outstanding 100 plus bred females that will take your herd to the next level. Bred to: I-80, I-67, Jesse James, Italian Stallion, Broker, Slider and many more. We also have 15 open show heifer prospects, and 5 herd bull candidates. There is something for everyone; Simmental, Angus, Hereford & Clubby mamas. Magazine link coming soon!

Friday events

Cattle will be avaliable to be viewed all day. Please try to stay away from the scorching times tomorrow..around 530ish we will eat and as we finish dinner we will begin the clipping and fitting clinic. This will be a great help for both parents and juniors so please try to make it! Once again dinner will be homemade from my good friends Antonio and Araceli Gonzalez. If you like the real deal Mexican food. Be here!

Schedule for the weekend OVER 65 HEAD FOR SALE!!!!!!!

Here's all the info you need!

Wednesday - Price sheet will be posted on the blog

Thursday - Cattle will be in their pens and ready to be viewed

Friday - Dinner will be served around 5:30 with the clipping/fitting clinic to follow

Saturday - Calves available to be viewed starting at 8:30 am (No daylight before then) with the sale/bidding beginning around 11.  We will hopefully be able to conclude the sale before 11:45...The sale concludes once no bids are submitted for over 5 minutes.  If you have questions how it works please don't hesitate to call.  We feel by doing it this way it allows the kids with their parents to think decide in a timely manner and not with a ringman jumping down their throat.  So basically nothing is sold until the very end and they all sale at once.  Lunch will be served immediately after while calves are being loaded.

A BRAND INSPECTOR WILL BE THERE SO PLEASE GET A BRAND SLIP!!!!!

Cattle haul for credit!

Free hunting during sale weekend

I don't know the laws nor the seasons but we will be giving free access to over 1000 acres of river bottom and corn fields in both Idaho and Oregon to all buyers!  Bring your guns shells and whatever else you need and have at it!  Just let us know and we will point you in the right direction.  The Idaho place is 300 acres along the Boise River and Oregon is 600 acres along the Owyhee River.

The mowing has begun

We have started to wack tourch and I guess clip the steers. We will be offering 65 to 70 head. Shirt and pants are not required inside the barn but are highly suggested. The calf in the mud puddle looked really good 20 minutes prior after being clipped.  Probably the stoutest calf we have ever offered...special thanks to Justin Jones for leaving the hose on:) please call with any questions. Sneak peak!

This Monopoly et calf along with about 30 other et calves and over 60 steers in total will sell October 17.  The largest selection of steers in the west...I hope this can wet a few whistles that have been chomping at the bit! This year we will be offering a few show heifer prospects as well. Enjoy the cattle!
